The Texans have successfully retrieved one of their own.
Houston said on Wednesday that D’Angelo Ross, a cornerback, had rejoined the team.
The 27-year-old Ross made 13 appearances and totaled eight tackles while playing for the Texans last season. He played eight defensive snaps and was on the field for 55.4% of the special teams snaps.
In 2021, he made three appearances for the Patriots. Ross also played for the Dolphins and the XFL’s St. Louis BattleHawks.
