GOOD NEWS: Houston Texans Just Confirm Another Contract Extension For Top Sensational Player

Will Nico Collins be signed by the Texans?
Nico Collins, a wide receiver with the Houston Texans, has extended an invitation to the team to discuss possible contract negotiations.

The Alabama native, 24, had a breakthrough 2023–24 season. Collins scored eight touchdowns and amassed a career-high 1297 receiving yards.

For the Texans, Collins was a true star. Throughout the 2023–24 NFL season, his friendship with rookie CJ Stroud was one of the highlights.

Collins was drafted in 2021, and he will be in his final year of a rookie deal in 2024. He is now qualified for an extension of his contract. Collins told local news, “Oh man, I would love that,” in response to a question regarding a possible new agreement. That would be fantastic. That seems to be the goal that everyone strives for. I’ll just let them do anything they want to do and whatever they chose. I will not intervene. I’m going to keep improving and honing my craft. We can negotiate if they wish to.”

Collins added, “It’s time to reload and pick up where we left off,” expressing his excitement for the new season. It’s a wonderful team to be a part of and undoubtedly a blessing. It seems appropriate, in my opinion. I can’t wait for everyone to return. We have a mission to complete. It is true. Yes, it is. We are eager to get up where we left off.

Collins is the archetypal wide receiver in the NFL. Teams lust after his height, size, and speed. Collins may profit from a lucrative agreement since wide receiver contracts are expected to soar.

Collins already has the support of his quarterback. CJ Stroud spoke about Collins, saying, “I told him that was our first time ever working out together. You’re a superstar, I told you. In the league, I’ve never even snapped the ball; I just know good receivers. Where I played, we had excellent receivers. Man, I’m really proud of that guy. For him, this is just the beginning.”
