Three individuals were hurt in an early-Tuesday gunshot in downtown Toronto, one of them critically.
It was around three in the morning, according to Toronto police, in the area of Wellington Street and Blue Jays Way.
Toronto paramedics took a woman with minor injuries and a guy with critical but non-life-threatening injuries to the hospital.
Another man went to hospital himself with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the motive remains unknown. Five bullet casings sat in the street on Tuesday morning around 9:30 a.m. Half a block between Wellington Street and King Street remained sectioned off with police tape as investigators took photos of the scene. Cars driving down Blue Jays Way were turned around and passersby on their morning commutes could be seen taking photos of the scene.
