The pro football star Randy Moss’s kid is playing in the Canadian Football League.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ official X account revealed on Monday that the team had signed former LSU and NFL tight end Thaddeus Moss. The news was initially posted on 3downation.com on February 22.
After being undrafted in 2020, Thaddeus Moss played two seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Commanders before being cut in 2022.He played in the United States Football League in 2023 with the Birmingham Stallions, when he won a USFL title.
Moss was not selected in the UFL dispersal draft held in January 2024, when the USFL and XFL united to form the United Football League, which consisted of eight teams.
The day before it was announced that he had signed with Hamilton, Thaddeus Moss made a hint about potentially moving up north.
Moss wrote on his X account, “Wonder what football is like in Canada,” on February 21.
The highlights of Thaddeus Moss’ career are his moments as a member of LSU’s 2019 CFP national championship team, where he caught passes from Joe Burrow, the current quarterback for the Bengals and winner of the Heisman Trophy. In the 2020 CFP National Championship game, he scored two touchdowns in a 42-20 victory over Clemson, out of 47 receptions for 570 yards and four touchdowns in 2019.
From 1998 to 2012, Randy Moss played in the NFL for 14 seasons. His 15,292 receiving yards rank fourth on the list of NFL career receiving leaders.2018 marked his first year of eligibility for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, where he was inducted.
