KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CONSIDERING SUPER STAR PLAYER IN BALTIMORE RAVENS FOR…

Chiefs players react to Patrick Mahomes' shattered helmet

Mike Evans’ decision to remain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left players like Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes in the dark.

Evans, 30, and the Bucs have reached an agreement on a two-year, £41 million contract to retain Evans in Florida. In an effort to retain its star players for the 2024 NFL season, the Bucs and Evans struck an agreement, according to reports that surfaced on Monday.

In each of his first ten seasons, Evans has gained more than 1,000 yards of total offense; in 2023, he scored 1,255 yards and tied the league high with 13 touchdowns. Antoine Winfield Jr. is a safety who the organization was hoping to franchise tag, but they were also eager to hold onto their offensive weapon.

Teams like the Kansas City Chiefs were interested in Evans’ talents, but Bucs general manager Jason Licht prevented him from heading to the highest bidder just before he became an unrestricted free agency for the first time in his career.
