Good News: Just In Toronto Raptors Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Talented Star

Breaking: Former Grizzlies player reportedly signs with Toronto Raptors
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the Toronto Raptors are adding a new member to their roster.

The Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets will play in North Carolina on Friday night.

The Raptors are bringing on Jontay Porter on a two-way contract, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski before to the game.

Porter participated in eleven NBA games for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2024.

Throughout his career, he has averaged 2.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 53.3% from the field per game.

He is the younger brother of Denver Nuggets player and NBA Champion Michael Porter Jr.

When the Raptors declared earlier in the day that Ron Harper Jr. had sustained a season-ending injury, they dismissed him, freeing up a spot on the roster for Porter.

The Raptors, on the other hand, are currently ranked 11th in the Eastern Conference after going 9–12 in their first 21 games.

They have lost two straight games and have a record of 4-6 over their last ten games.

The Raptors’ next game is scheduled for Monday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where they will host the New York Knicks after the Hornets.

The team defeated the Golden State Warriors to win the 2019 NBA Championship, but since then, they have only been successful in one postseason series.
