All Out For Bengals Receiver Tee Higgins Would Be A Rams Trade Idea?
The Los Angeles Rams’ passing attack, which featured a frightening combination in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, was the strongest aspect of the team this past season. What if the group had a third receiver in the mix, though?
Tee Higgins, a wide receiver for the
reportedly asked to be traded from the team that selected him in the second round of the 2020 draft. The star wide receiver was frustrated that the Bengals had not discussed a long-term contract extension with him since March 2023, as he had hoped to stay with the organization for a very long time.
This year, Higgins was not as successful as Tyler Boyd, the third receiver for the Bengals, finishing with only 656 receiving yards. However, Higgins’ hamstring problems caused him to miss time, as he only appeared in twelve of the team’s games.
However, Higgins is among the league’s most versatile receivers when he’s on the field. In addition to using his 6-4, 220-pound bulk to make himself a red zone menace, he is quick enough to keep up with anyone.
A talent like Higgins would probably cost the Rams a lot of draft capital in a deal. However, the organization has previously demonstrated that, in an attempt to win right away, they are more than prepared to swap picks in order to bolster their present lineup.
Nacua, Kupp, and Higgins together would form one of the strongest wide receiving corps in recent memory, but the organization must decide if they are prepared to sacrifice everything to acquire it.
