Tennessee HC Josh Heupel Gives Final Texas A&M Preview on Thursday
On Thursday morning in Knoxville, Tennessee, head coach Josh Heupel took the stage for his final press conference before the Vols’ upcoming game against Texas A&M. As usual, Heupel’s press conference was concise and to the point.
He discussed the offensive strategies they will employ against Texas A&M and also highlighted some of Tennessee’s receivers, including Dont’e Thornton, Kaleb Webb, and Chas Nimrod, who will be stepping up in the absence of Bru McCoy.
Heupel also reminisced about his time as an Oklahoma quarterback playing against Texas A&M, and mentioned his excitement about bringing in Eric Berry, a future College Football Hall of Famer, for the game.
Additionally, he provided updates on the team’s injury status. The 19th-ranked Tennessee team will be hosting Texas A&M this Saturday at Neyland Stadium, with a halftime ceremony honoring Eric Berry’s upcoming induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
