Carson Beck, the Georgia Bulldogs quarterback, is aiming to be the first quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft class. With the 2024 draft aside, it’s never too early to start thinking about next season. Georgia will compete for a national championship in college football despite missing the playoffs last season.
The Bulldogs went back-to-back in 2021 and 2022. It is difficult to three-peat, and they failed to achieve it in 2023. Carson Beck completed 72.4% of his passes for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions last season for Georgia.
He could be one of the Heisman Trophy favorites for the upcoming college football season. Matthew Stafford, a former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback, was selected first overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
Sheuder Sanders of the Colorado Buffaloes and Quinn Ewers of the Texas Longhorns are two more quarterbacks who could be selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. It will also be fascinating to observe which NFL clubs aren’t good next season.
