Breaking News: The Saints have signed all but one rookie, so there’s no need to panic.

The New Orleans Saints have worked hard to make their recent draft picks official members of the organization. This is accomplished by signing the athletes to their rookie contracts. According to reports on Thursday, New Orleans has signed six of the seven players it picked in the 2024 NFL draft. Taliese Fuaga, the 14th pick overall, was among the six.

Fuaga, the Saints’ first overall pick, agreed to a four-year, fully guaranteed contract for $17.3 million. Because he was drafted in the first round, his contract includes a fifth-year option with the franchise. Fuaga also got a $9.4 million signing bonus.

With business taken care of, Taliese Fuaga met Derek Carr for the first time, getting to know the quarterback he will assist keep clean. The rookie lineman is anticipated to play a significant role for the Saints in his first season.

The only draftee who has not yet been signed is second-round pick Kool-Aid McKinstry. However, history shows that fans shouldn’t be concerned that he hasn’t signed yet.

The Saints have failed to sign Kool-Aid McKinstry, their second-round draft pick (41st overall).

However, he remains the lone rookie who has yet to be signed. Several people have noted that this is typical among second-round picks. John Hendrix of the Saints News Network noted that Isaiah Foskey and Alontae Taylor did not sign until July 19 of their respective draft years.
