Report: On Christmas Day, the Suns will play the Nuggets
On Christmas Day, the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets will play one other once again.
Phoenix: NBA insider Shams Charania claims that the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets will play on Christmas Day of the 2024–25 NBA season.
The Suns will play the Nuggets in the slate’s last game, which includes:
Knicks against. Spurs in San Antonio
Mavericks vs. Timberwolves in Minnesota
76ers of Philadelphia visiting the Celtics
Golden State Warriors against Los Angeles Lakers
Suns vs. Nuggets in Denver
Phoenix will be playing on the holiday for the fourth year in a row; in the three previous seasons, the team lost to the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Dallas Mavericks.
StatMuse reports that the Suns are 12-9 overall on Christmas.
With Mike Budenholzer taking over as head coach in place of the departed Frank Vogel, Phoenix looks to build on their 49 regular season wins from the previous year.
The NBA usually does a great job of arranging exciting games, and basketball fans should expect a great nightcap at Footprint Center from the two dominant teams in the Western Conference.
The Nuggets still have Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and other players, but the Suns have their all-star three back in Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant.
The USA team defeated the Jokic-led Serbian team on Thursday in the 2024 Olympic semifinals thanks to the efforts of Durant and Booker. On Sunday, the United States will compete against France for the gold medal and Serbia against Germany for the bronze.
